About the Role:Job SummaryThe Manager, Employee Leaves & Accommodations is responsible for providing effective management, compliance, and administration of Northeast Georgia Health System's (NGHS) light duty, leave, and accommodations programs, including but not limited to Family Medical Leave (FMLA), Short-Term Disability (STD), Long-Term Disability (LTD), military leave,  and workplace accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA). The manager plays a key role in the development and ongoing assessment of efficient and effective processes to provide the highest quality of customer support to NGHS employees and management. This position will provide oversight and guidance to the Leave Team, and partner with third-party leave administrator, as needed, to resolve complex cases in a timely manner. Advanced knowledge of all federal and state leave laws and regulations required to ensure legal compliance while managing employee requests for various types of leave.
