Job Overview
The Manager, Engineering is responsible for overseeing group leaders of project management and technical resource teams within the Engineering department. These teams ensure the successful execution of engineering projects, including customer engagement, project-related technical support, and support of manufacturing processes. Our Manager, Engineering oversees the planning and execution of projects by managing resources, budgets, and timelines while ensuring the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions. This role provides technical leadership and guidance to project teams, supports employee development, facilitates effective communication with stakeholders, and drives the implementation of best practices to achieve project objectives, promote continuous improvement, and foster innovation.

What will help you thrive in this role?
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Business or Project Management related fields or equivalent in education with experience.
Five (5) or more years of progressive experience in an engineering or project management role within a related industry, demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility and leadership
Proven leadership experience driving strategic goals and business initiatives through effective team management, collaboration, and accountability for results.
Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization, mentor and develop employees, and influence cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives.
Strong people leadership skills, including performance management, coaching, training, and career development, with a track record of building engaged, high-performing teams and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Demonstrated ability to balance competing priorities, optimize resources, and make strategic decisions that support business objectives and operational demands.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective, sustainable solutions.
Proven ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional stakeholders, fostering alignment, trust, and positive business outcomes.
Technical knowledge/understanding of Panel and Equipment Enclosure Engineering and related manufacturing proccesses (preferred but not required).
