  • Provide engineering design support across natural gas transmission, gathering, and midstream operations.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and business units to prioritize needs and deliver appropriate engineering support.
  • Develop, manage, and forecast departmental budgets, including G&A, OPEX, and CAPEX.
  • Oversee internal and external engineering design activities, including project management, estimating, operations support, and encroachment projects.
  • Ensure all engineering work complies with applicable regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Lead efforts to improve and standardize engineering design standards and operating procedures across business units.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and establish operational best practices.
  • Monitor team performance using KPIs and align processes with business unit requirements to improve efficiency.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of project status, costs, forecasts, risks, and performance metrics.
  • Conduct budget planning, forecasting, and cost control activities.
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication and lead multi-department meetings and decision-making processes.
  • Participate in stakeholder committees, including standards and O&M reviews and ADC committee involvement.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders while delivering high-quality customer service.
  • Develop performance milestones, evaluate progress, and provide feedback and coaching to team members.
  • Maintain up-to-date engineering standards and ensure adherence across all projects.
  • Support special projects, including potential field/site visits and asset-related initiatives.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • 5–10 years of relevant engineering experience.
  • At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Experience in design and drafting for large industrial or energy-related projects.
  • Knowledge of gas transmission and midstream (gas gathering) operations.

Technical & Business Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of engineering design standards, API standards, and industry best practices.
  • Knowledge of environmental, regulatory, construction, surveying, and FERC processes.
  • Experience with budgeting, cost control, and financial planning.

  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal).
  • Ability to make sound, proactive decisions and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on economic decision-making.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage performance, develop talent, and drive results.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Additional Requirements:
