Type: Full-Time 75 Hours Bi-Weekly

Shift: Evenings

Hours: 3:00 PM - 11:30PM

Pay Range: $75,000 - $90,000, Shift Differential May Apply

Job Description:

The Manager supervises and coordinates the Environmental Services Department in order to maintain the facility in a clean and orderly condition.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and control the activities of the EVS department 
• Ensure supplies are available for staff to complete their assignments daily
• Monitor employee time and attendance
• Validate and document terminal cleaning regularly
• Complete Bed Report each morning and effectively communicate bed availability and room readiness
• Adjust staffing patterns in accordance with Hospital census 
• Monitor linen distribution on the units adjusting delivery counts in accordance with Hospital census
• Monitor work performance and prepare reviews and/or evaluation for assigned personnel

Requirements:

• Associate's Degree in relevant field of study required, Bachelor's preferred
• 5 years relevant experience in a healthcare setting
• Knowledge of all environmental services procedures, applicable laws, and government regulations
• Previous Environmental Services managerial experience required
