The Manager inspects the assigned areas ensuring compliance with the established cleaning standards. Determines cleaning effectiveness by staff and assesses the need for special cleaning. Reports items in need of repair or unsatisfactory condition. Demonstrates ability to interview, hire, schedule, assign work to and evaluate the work performance of employees supervised. Prepares productivity reports, monitors/maintains all work scheduling of Environmental Service Technicians and Supervisors. Completes quality control inspections and audits. Completes employee performance evaluations in a timely manner. Linen responsibilities include collecting and interacting with linen process. Flexing of work schedules when necessary to adhere to the needs of the department. Manager on Call for weekends once every 6 weeks. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.
