Job Description
JPC Partners is looking for an experienced Manager, ERP Applications (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central) to lead the implementation, administration, support, and continuous improvement of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central platform.
This individual will serve as the primary internal owner of Business Central throughout implementation and post go-live operations. The role will partner closely with business stakeholders, implementation partners, and technical teams to ensure successful delivery of ERP capabilities supporting finance, procurement, warehousing, logistics, and related business functions.
Following implementation, this position will act as the Business Central system owner, responsible for application administration, security, enhancements, integrations, vendor management, user support, and ERP strategy.
This role requires a hands-on professional who understands both business processes and ERP technology and has successfully participated in or led one or more Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations.
Key Responsibilities
ERP Implementation Leadership

Key Responsibilities
ERP Implementation Leadership
- Serve as the primary internal lead for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation in all business units.
- Coordinate activities between business stakeholders and implementation partners.
- Manage project scope, priorities, risks, deliverables, and timelines.
- Facilitate requirements gathering, process design, configuration reviews, and solution validation.
- Lead testing efforts.
- Ensure implementation aligns with business objectives and operational requirements.
- Drive adoption and change management activities throughout the organization.
- Administer and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Manage user roles, permissions, and security policies.
- Configure and maintain application settings and workflows.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processing activities.
- Monitor system performance and application health.
- Coordinate upgrades, patches, and new feature releases.
- Partner with Finance, Operations, Warehousing, Procurement, and IT teams to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Assist departments in optimizing workflows and reporting capabilities.
- Develop and maintain ERP governance processes and standards.
- Act as Tier 2 / Tier 3 support resource for Business Central-related issues.
- Troubleshoot ERP problems and coordinate resolutions with Microsoft partners and vendors.
- Manage support tickets, issue prioritization, and escalation processes.
- Develop knowledge base and user training materials.
- Support integration with Microsoft 365, Power BI, EDI systems, Banking platforms, Warehouse and logistics systems, Third-party applications
- Collaborate with developers and vendors on integration design and support.
- Assist in developing operational and financial reporting solutions using Power BI and BusinessCentral reporting tools.
- Manage relationships with implementation partners and software vendors.
- Review service performance and project deliverables.
- Coordinate enhancement requests and support activities.
- Participate in contract and renewal discussions.
- 5+ years of ERP systems experience.
- 3+ years of direct Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience.
- Participation in at least one full-cycle Business Central implementation.
- Experience with:

- Experience managing third-party ERP consulting firms.
- Strong understanding of financial and operational business processes.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Accounting, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Experience leading a full Business Central implementation as internal project lead.
