Position: Manager (Evening Programs)
Location: Athens Campus
Department: Division of Academic Affairs
Reports to: Vice President of Academic Affairs

Responsibilities:
- Oversees college services, and administrative functions during evening hours.
- Acts as the primary point of contact for evening students and faculty, handle urgent or sensitive issues, and coordinate with daytime staff to ensure a seamless operation.
- Serves as primary liaison to campus law enforcement during evening hours.
- Ensures policies and procedures relating to the administration of building security, parking and emergency preparedness are followed.
- Addresses/resolves complaints and needs of students, faculty, staff and outside customers.
- Acts as the on-site manager for emergencies, safety incidents, or faculty issues in the evening.
- Acts as the liaison between daytime administrative offices of Academic Affairs and Student Affairs.
- Acts as a liaison between evening adjunct faculty and part-time staff.
- Monitors the activities of personnel to ensure compliance with TCSG policy manual and department procedures.
- Develops, maintains, and fosters effective working relationships.
- Maintains required documentation and completes reports as needed.
- Provides technical assistance to students, faculty, and staff with program specific technology by responding to LMS support requests.
- Conducts needs assessments designed to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats relative to distance education service excellence.
- Develops print and web-ready training materials to support faculty/staff development and frequently asked questions regarding pedagogical theories/practice, andragogical theories/practice, instructional design, distance education, accessibility, technical support topics, and other related topics.
- Assists in implementation of ATC’s course design quality assurance initiative.
- Assists in publishing announcements, updating content in the student LMS orientation, and ensure content regarding distance education on Athens Technical College’s website and in the college catalog is up-to-date.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Education, Instructional Design, or Information Technology, or a related field *and* three (3) years of work-related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Work experience in post-secondary education, technical, or community college preferred.
- Experience in customer service, software technical support preferred.
- Experience developing training or educational materials.
- Proven proficiency in the operation of computers, hardware, and job-related software such as Microsoft Office, and presentation software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
