Facilities Manager-General Services

Job Description Manage and supervise general services to support company strategic initiatives. Implement and maintain corporate headquarters to the highest standards ensuring a world class environment for employees and customers. Driver of employee safety and ensuring systems and procedures are in place to ensure business continuity.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage essential services i.e. food services, catering, landscaping, snow removal, building aesthetics, security, housekeeping, pest control, waste disposal, recycling, materials and supplies.
  • Maintain and support space automation and CAFM system databases.
  • Maintain space allocation records as well as provide allocation data for financial reporting.
  • Support internal/external relocation planning and move management activities.
  • Develop and manage General Service budgets.
  • Manage the development of departmental strategic initiatives.
  • Manage and evaluate vendor services and activities in order to maximize efficiencies.
  • Develop metric and reporting systems necessary to monitor building and vendor services and activities.
  • Provide cross functional support to facility operations as needed.
  • Establish high level reports dashboard, score card, KPI of facility activities for management review.
  • Manage the procurement of spare parts and critical long lead items to be placed into inventory.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures specific to Facility Services to include Safety Regulations, Standard Operating Procedures, Quality System Regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Any additional duties as required by Management.
