Job Title

Manager Facilities & Maintenance

Responsible for leading and coordinating maintenance, repair, and installation activities for automated manufacturing equipment, machinery, and tools, as well as facility infrastructure, grounds, and utility systems. Provide overall oversight of manufacturing system operations, ensuring the effective installation, maintenance, reliability, and performance of production systems.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage the maintenance department. Supervise exempt and non-exempt personnel.

  • Review job orders to determine work priorities; schedule repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment, to ensure continuous production operations.

  • Develop preventive maintenance program in conjunction with engineering and maintenance staff.

  • Support construction, equipment installation, start up, commissioning, and validation activities.

  • Design and supervise the installation of automated process control systems. Maintain and support improvement in all automated process manufacturing systems.

  • Interpret control programs and logic diagrams to support the design and construction of new automation systems and specialized equipment. Utilize engineering designs, including technical drawings, schematics, and written and verbal specifications, to develop, build, and implement plant process systems and specialized manufacturing equipment with minimal supervision.

  • Participate in major capital projects by coordinating with design teams, equipment manufacturers, and user requirements.

  • Help train and instruct production operators in the use of new automated systems. Generate support documentation as required.

Job Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, chemical engineering or related field and/or 8+ years related work experience.

Experience:

  • Experience in process controls, materials handling, multiple PLC platforms, and other programmable control systems.

  • Experience in reading and utilizing process design and construction documents.

  • Experience with remote I/O network over Ethernet I/P.

  • Experience with Rockwell Automation. Studio 5000 and FT studio a plus.

Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Possess technical knowledge in process control systems, electrical and electronic systems.

  • Must be able to exhibit strong interpersonal and organizational skills, great attention to detail, as well as excellent listening, verba,l and written communication skills.

  • Must be able to work with a diverse variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds.

Target Hiring Range

Annual Salary: USD 112,767.00 - USD 155,055.00
