Manager, Finance Systems (SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud)

A finance services organization is seeking a Manager, Finance Systems (SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud) in Englewood Cliffs, NJ to lead the support and evolution of a modern finance technology landscape. This role will oversee finance systems strategy, integrations, and operational stability while supporting ongoing transformation across the broader enterprise ecosystem.

• Setting: Hybrid (2 days onsite)

Responsibilities:

• Lead the strategy, architecture, and operational direction for SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Finance and related finance applications

• Own the design, governance, and optimization of integrations across SAP and connected enterprise platforms

• Partner with finance and technology stakeholders to align system capabilities with transformation priorities and business needs

• Oversee enhancements, implementations, upgrades, testing, release management, and production support activities

• Manage external implementation partners, vendors, and managed service providers supporting the finance systems landscape

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience supporting enterprise finance systems, including at least 3+ years in architecture, technical leadership, or enterprise applications management

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance Technology, or a related field

• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance, preferably SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud

• Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations, transformations, or migrations

• Deep understanding of core finance processes, including record-to-report, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, fixed assets, treasury, revenue accounting, tax, and financial reporting

• Strong expertise in enterprise integration architecture and SAP-to-third-party application connectivity

• Experience designing and managing integrations using SAP Business Technology Platform, SAP Integration Suite, APIs, middleware platforms, and cloud-based integration frameworks

• Experience managing implementation partners, vendors, and cross-functional technical teams

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Workday Financials or Adaptive Planning

• Exposure to media or similar complex business environments

• Familiarity with custom applications and SaaS solutions in a finance ecosystem
