Job Summary:

This leader has oversight and is responsible for planning, organizing, development and implementation of the department initiatives in the area of business development, data analytics, as well as staff education and performance. In this role, the leader sets the tone and models positive leadership behavior, while ensuring successful completion of tasks, projects, and responsibilities in support of departmental and organizational goals.

Required Qualifications:

- Require a Bachelor's degree in healthcare or related field. Relevant work experience in healthcare or business administration in a leadership role can be substituted on a year-for-year basis in lieu of the required degree.

 

- Require five (5) years of medical practice management experience in a clinical group setting of four or more providers including management responsibility for all operational areas including finance;

OR

- Require five (5) years of medical practice management experience with a hospital-based setting of three or more providers including management responsibility for all operational areas including finance.

 

- Require previous experience in mentoring and precepting.

- Prefer demonstrated ability in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
- Prefer demonstrated ability to analyze problems and consistently follow through to solution.
- Prefer demonstrated ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving expertise.
- Prefer demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills and ability to effectively consult and counsel all levels of management staff.
- Prefer demonstrated leadership skills and understanding of group processes, teamwork, and cost center-based management.

Work Days/Shift/Start Time:

This position will focus on Clinical Data, Metrics, SMART Metrics, Physician Incentives, Progran Data and Reporting (including data submission), Problem Analysis using QI Methods.  Clinical experience preferred.
