General Manager Little Palm Cafe on Davis Islands, Tampa FL

Little Palm Cafe is seeking an experienced, hands-on General Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our restaurant. We are looking for a strong leader who takes ownership of the business, builds a positive team culture, and ensures a consistently high standard of service and hospitality.

The General Manager will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including team leadership, hiring and terminations, scheduling, training, food and beverage ordering, inventory management, labor management, and overall operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all day-to-day restaurant operations and ensure the business runs smoothly and efficiently
  
• Recruit, hire, train, develop, and manage restaurant staff
  
• Manage employee scheduling, performance, disciplinary matters, and terminations
  
• Oversee food and beverage ordering, inventory levels, and vendor relationships
  
• Monitor food, labor, and operating costs while maintaining quality standards
  
• Ensure exceptional guest service and address guest concerns when necessary
  
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, food safety, and operational standards throughout the restaurant
  
• Review and approve employee hours and payroll information
  
• Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house teams to maintain efficient service
  
• Maintain consistent communication with ownership regarding operations, staffing, financial performance, challenges, and opportunities for improvement
  
• Take ownership of the restaurant s overall performance and proactively identify ways to improve operations and the guest experience
