General Description
This position manages the Grant Accounting and Financial Reporting Division of the Office of County Auditor. The incumbent directs the grant accounting process, including all grant funds, capital projects, and ARP funding. Incumbent also directs accounting for capital assets, leases (including GASB 87 leases), and SBITA's (GASB 96). Incumbent oversees compliance and financial reporting of the County's federal, state, and private grants. Incumbent ensures staff are well-trained and knowledgeable of their assigned grants and funds, reporting requirements, and of current laws and regulations regarding the County's grants. Incumbent maintains the chart of accounts and definitions for grants and projects, and reviews and approves all budget entries, journal entries, and customer invoices of the division. Incumbent assists in the preparation of the ACFR and prepares the annual Single Audit reports. Incumbent reviews the County's monthly financial statements and provides analysis
