Title: Manager, Grid Integration – Data Center & Power Projects (ERCOT)
Compensation: $140,000–165,000 Base + 15% Bonus + Outstanding Benefits

Our client is seeking a Grid Integration Manager to support the development and execution of large-scale power infrastructure projects serving both hyperscale data centers and utility-scale generation assets within the ERCOT market. This individual will play a key role in guiding projects through interconnection, transmission planning, and commissioning while collaborating with engineering, development, construction, operations, and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead generator and large-load interconnection efforts from early-stage development through commercial operation.
Coordinate technical studies, interconnection applications, regulatory submissions, and utility approvals.
Partner with ERCOT, transmission providers, utilities, engineering consultants, EPC contractors, and internal project teams to maintain project schedules.
Evaluate transmission capacity, congestion risks, deliverability, and network upgrade requirements for prospective projects.
Review transmission studies, queue positions, and market developments that impact project execution and economics.
Support commissioning activities including energization, synchronization, and commercial operation milestones.
Coordinate engineering revisions and ensure projects remain compliant with applicable grid requirements.
Work cross-functionally with Development, Engineering, Construction, Operations, Finance, and Asset Management throughout the project lifecycle.
Support technical due diligence for project acquisitions, financing, and strategic development initiatives.
Experience supporting both hyperscale data center projects and utility-scale power generation projects.
Hands-on experience with ERCOT interconnection processes, including market protocols, generator and/or large-load interconnections.
3–7+ years of experience in grid integration, transmission planning, interconnection engineering, or power systems supporting large infrastructure projects.
Experience working for a renewable energy developer or electric utility while coordinating with utilities, transmission providers, consultants, and cross-functional project teams.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Knowledge of ERCOT market operations and FERC interconnection processes.
Experience with power system analysis tools such as PSS®E, PSLF, PowerWorld, or similar software.
Exposure to Python, SQL, or other data analytics tools.
Strong communication, project management, and stakeholder coordination skills.
