    Join our team as a day shift, full-time, Health System Manager in Ambulatory Infusion at INTEGRIS Health in Oklahoma City, OK.

    The Health System Ambulatory Infusion Manager is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of ambulatory infusion services across the health system. This role oversees the coordination, compliance, safety, and optimization of infusion therapy services delivered in ambulatory and outpatient settings. The manager ensures alignment with clinical best practices, quality standards, and regulatory requirements while advancing patient-centered care and operational efficiency. The manager focuses on key strategic growth initiatives to increase patient access.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    Education:

    • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy required.

    Licensure/Certification:

    • Active and unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of practice required.

    Experience:

    • Minimum 3-5 years of clinical pharmacy experience, with at least 2 years in an ambulatory infusion, oncology, or specialty infusion setting.
    • Minimum 2 years of leadership, supervisory, or management experience in a health system, infusion center, or ambulatory care environment.
    • Demonstrated experience with formulary management, P&T committee participation, and infusion-related regulatory compliance (e.g., The Joint Commission, CMS, state board of pharmacy).

    Skills & Competencies:

    • In-depth knowledge of sterile compounding standards, hazardous drug handling, and clinical guidelines for infusion therapies (oncology, biologics, IVIG, etc.).
    • Strong leadership, team building, and project management skills.
    • Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic), pharmacy information systems, and clinical decision support tools.
    • Excellent communication, interdisciplinary collaboration, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to lead quality improvement initiatives, manage budgets, and support operational efficiency.

    • Provide leadership, direction, and oversight for ambulatory infusion operations, including clinical, operational, and financial performance.
    • Supervise and mentor infusion center staff through direct and indirect reporting lines.
    • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, information technology, and administrators to optimize infusion workflows and patient care delivery.

    Clinical Oversight & Quality Assurance:

    • Develop and implement evidence-based protocols, guidelines, and clinical pathways for infusion therapies.
    • Evaluate new and existing medications for formulary inclusion or changes based on clinical efficacy, safety, Pharmacoeconomics, and utilization trends.
    • Monitor and report key quality indicators including medication errors, patient outcomes, and adherence to safety practices.

    Operational Management:

    • Optimize electronic health record (EHR) and pharmacy information systems to support workflow.
    • Manage purchasing, cost containment, and formulary decisions related to infusion medications.
    • Collaborate with the patient access center on prior authorizations.
    • Review and evaluate infusion center reimbursement trends.

    Strategic Planning & Development:

    • Identify opportunities to expand infusion services, improve access to care, and support new clinical service lines.
    • Participate in budget planning, business development, and contracting for third-party infusion reimbursement.
    • Collaborate with payor strategies on strategic initiatives to improve patient access and reimbursement.
