The Manager In Training (MIT) role prepares individuals for future management positions within the organization.
Principal responsibilities include acquiring and maintaining customers through sales, delivery, and service; ensuring compliance with laws; meeting quality, safety, and sales targets; supporting marketing efforts; maintaining a safe and clean environment; and assisting with store operations.
The MIT will train in areas such as sales, customer accounts, service, delivery, store performance analysis, inventory, asset management, marketing, vehicle management, scheduling, staffing, and policy enforcement.
Key skills include organization, communication, multitasking, learning enthusiasm, negotiation, problem-solving, and leadership.
Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, physical ability to lift and move heavy items, work outdoors and in various weather, and, if driving, be at least age 21.
