The Manager In Training (MIT) position prepares individuals for future management roles within the organization.
Principal responsibilities include acquiring and maintaining customers through sales and service, ensuring compliance with laws, meeting sales and profit goals, supporting marketing efforts, and maintaining a safe, clean environment.
The MIT will train in areas such as store sales, customer accounts, delivery, operations, financial analysis, inventory, asset management, marketing, vehicle management, scheduling, hiring, and team leadership.
Ideal skills include organization, communication, multitasking, learning passion, negotiation, problem-solving, and delegation.
Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, physical ability to lift heavy items, work outdoors in various climates, and, if driving, be at least 21 years old.
