SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Directly manage the implementation, stabilization, and support of Epic and/or other healthcare applications and teams. Ensure system functionality is designed and delivered to support clinical, business, and information needs. Engage key clinical, financial services and operational stakeholders to align Information Technology resources to support the organization's goals and objectives. Partner with stakeholders to develop, implement, and maintain software solutions to support optimal care delivery and healthcare operations. Provide information technology operational leadership and support for business and clinical functions. Work closely with application managers, IS teams, and operational teams to identify changes required in the current workflow, system design, build, and long-term support. Manage the selection, development, and coaching of team members.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

  • Bachelor's Degree with four (4) years' experience within a Clinical and Anatomic Pathology Laboratory or related healthcare setting or eight (8) years of experience within a Clinical and Anatomic Pathology Laboratory or related healthcare setting.
  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a lead or supervisory role or leading health system initiatives.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

  • Experience leading a team that supports Blood Bank, LIS middleware, automation line and laboratory device integration and support
