HCT seeks an experienced Laboratory professional to serve as the interim Laboratory Manager at an acute care facility in Maryland.
Core laboratory departments fall under this role:
- Hematology, Chemistry. UA, Coagulation, Manual Bench (kit testing), Processing, some blood bank (dispensing).
- This role includes management of phlebotomy staff and member collection areas.
Epic beaker is HIS. LIS is Cerner Millenium -High Throughput lab, at least 6 years' experience in complex lab and staff management.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Biology/Medical Technology or equivalent education/experience
- Experience: Minimum of 6 years experience in a complex laboratory required. Recent laboratory management required.
- Certification: ASCP CLS License required
- Computer Skills: EPIC and Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
