    Manager, Becker Learning Operations
    Remote
    Position Overview:
    The Manager, Learning Operations will oversee course delivery and lead a team of Learning Operations Specialists which are high-performing technical and business specialists tasked with delivering exceptional customer experience to internal and external stakeholders.  The Manager, Learning Operations will report to the Senior Manager, Learning Operations and will closely collaborate with various Becker colleagues.
     
    This role will work with the key stakeholders to help identify, evaluate and design innovative global and scalable operational processes to increase operational and business efficiencies. The Manager, Learning Operations should be an expert in leading process improvement and business transformation initiatives. The role is highly analytical and strategic with a pragmatic sense for setting high-level goals and working with key players in the organization to ensure expectations are achieved. This role will regularly navigate multifaceted cross functional issues and needs to be comfortable advocating for the desired organizational outcome. The individual in this role should be comfortable working with ambiguity.
     
    Note - Becker offers courses seven-days a week and the Learning Operations Team supports delivery of those courses.  This role provides emergency on-call support (on a rotational basis) to the members of the team to troubleshoot course delivery issues. 

    Position Requirements and Major Responsibilities:

    • Act as the primary point of escalation for the Product and Production Teams for delivery of Exam Review and Continuing Education courses in a live, live online or rebroadcast format.
    • Provide day-to-day troubleshooting for “day of event issues with the technical delivery platform/s (i.e. Notified/Zoom/etc).
    • Provide coordination, supervision, monitoring and management of deliverables, team capacity and resource allocation
    • Provide performance management and development of the Learning Operations Specialists including providing direct and actionable feedback and mentorship to cultivate and drive high performance and guide career development.
    • Train faculty, Learning Operations Specialists and the Course Coordinators on Becker’s delivery platform (i.e. Notified/Zoom/etc.)
    • Represent Learning Operations on appropriate committees and meetings (i.e., B2B custom classes, conference committee, course of the future, CMA scheduling meetings, etc.)
    • Responsible for management and processing of P-Card Charges
    • Responsible for performing the APA Function for various contracts and coding of invoices
    • Serve as a course delivery expert within the organization.
    • In conjunction with the faculty manager, create academic schedules including annual live online schedules.
    • Work with sales team to schedule sales agreement driven events.
    • Manage live sites, supervising the Learning Operations Specialists for Exam Review (Live, DKB, Cohort), to schedule and execute live courses (public and private).
    • Best Practices – Enable the team to improve processes and policies in support of organizational goals. Monitor adherence to rules, regulations, and procedures.
    • Communication – coordinate the communication between support functions and the different departments.
    • Strategic Input - Liaise with key stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts to implement and manage operational plans.
    • Oversee delivery of support of critical customer issues and deliver new strategies to ensure that root causes are addressed.
    • Completes other duties as assigned.
     
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree required (preferably in a technical discipline; MBA degree is desired)
    • 5-7 years in operations, process improvement, other operations functions, or a combination of operations and management or leadership experience
    • Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification (preferred)
    • Exceptionally good at change management to drive improvements in cross-functional processes, communication and relationships
    • Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and presentation skills
    • Proven track record in driving change and business transformation
    • Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing teams on major projects or initiatives
    • Experience supporting live or virtual events (preferred)
