Summary: Position will lead Hendrick Autoguard’s organizational learning initiatives, curriculum development and project delivery across the Autoguard/NationsGuard team. The Role will also focus on Employee Engagement and Talent Development.

Supervisory Responsibilities: No direct supervisory responsibility, however, teammate’s role is to ensure all employees adhere to the learning and talent development curriculum. Will also aide in identification and growing of teammates skill sets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following, and other duties may be assigned:

  • Ensure all learning is aligned with Hendrick Servant Leadership culture and supportive of growth and development for Hendrick Autoguard teammates.
  • Consistently develop and deliver World Class work/training content.
  • Ensuring that all teammates are completing their learning paths.
  • Assist in onboarding of NationsGuard dealer groups.
  • Lead talent development program, giving our people a clear path forward and our organization a stronger bench.
  • Provide project coordination and timeline management for Employee Engagement and Academy expansion.
  • Adhere to Company Core values.

5+ years

Communication Skills:

Ability to understand and follow instructions. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with customers and company personnel in person and over the phone. Strong interpersonal and skills.

Technical Expertise:

Real life and academic experience in all aspects of talent and team development. Strong ability in learning curriculum generation.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions. Ability to deal with complex situation situations.  Ability to work in fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

Computer Skills:

Advanced user of Microsoft Office suite, mastery of all internal programs used by Hendrick Autoguard that are applicable to the role.

Math Ability:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.

Attendance Expectations:

The position requires regular and predictable attendance at the Autoguard Office. Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays. Position is not remote due to essential functions of the role.

Environment Demands:

Primarily indoor, climate-controlled office environment. Noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. May require occasional travel by car or plane to locations for onboarding, training delivery, or program coordination. Regular use of computer, video conferencing platforms, and learning management systems (LMS) for extended periods. Work includes movement around facilities. 

Physical Demands:

Primarily sedentary work; regularly required to sit for extended periods at a computer workstation. Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, data entry, and operating a computer, keyboard, mouse, and phone. Regularly required to talk and hear, both in person and via phone/video conferencing. Occasionally required to stand, walk, bend, and reach. Close visual acuity required for extended periods of computer screen use, reading, and reviewing learning content and materials. Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10-15 pounds (e.g., laptop, training materials, boxes of materials for onboarding events)

Verbal and Writing Ability:

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to receive and communicate with management office personnel/vendors/teammates courteously, efficiently, and professionally. Employee must be able to display professional phone and email etiquette.
