Title: Manager Life Event Team

Location:  New York, NY (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Contract

Compensation:
Pay Range:$56.35-$80.50 Per Hr

Description
Our New York-based client seeks a Manager for their Life Event Team on a contract basis. 
This hybrid role involves overseeing daily operations related to benefits administration such as pension, medical, and insurance. 
The position requires strong leadership in a client-focused environment and proficiency in generic office software.
Manage daily operations of the Life Event Team, ensuring adherence to benefit plans and regulatory guidelines.
Lead a team to deliver client education and handle benefit inquiries, focusing on retirement and claims.
Collaborate with business leaders to identify trends and implement strategies.
Ensure high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction.
Monitor and improve client service processes and staff training.
Manage special projects and cross-functional collaborations.
Determine staffing needs and scheduling to meet operational demands.

Key Responsibilities
Manage lifecycle stages for life events, emphasizing client follow-up and education.
Craft and execute business strategies as client needs evolve.
Lead cross-functional teams to ensure exemplary client service.
Translate gaps and opportunities into actionable insights.
Analyze and identify client service skill needs and develop training plans.

Qualifications
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Strong leadership capability and multitasking ability in a complex environment.
8 years of experience in customer success within a service-oriented corporate environment.
Experience with pension plan, health and welfare plan administration, and compliance.
Proficient in generic office software for analysis, tracking, and reporting.
