Manager - Manufacturing Engineering & Technology

As part of a diverse and hardworking team of specialists, you will be responsible for working closely with engineering design and company leadership to support all manufacturing efforts and equipment related to building human rated orbital launch vehicles. You will work with innovative processes for various spaceflight systems. You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of manufacturing engineering. Day to day responsibilities will include the Manufacturing Plan Development, Managing all Work Order Authoring, and provide Mentoring and Career Path Development to your enrolled employees.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering (other relevant fields may apply) from an accredited university.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering
• Project management experience including identification of scope, project planning, and scheduling within an R&D or start-up environment
• Experience working in a product design or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with assembly and integration of launch vehicles across a range of launch vehicle subsystems including avionics, fluids, and mechanical
• Aerospace/Launch vehicle experience.
• Experience with safety critical systems.
• Experience with mentorship of engineers in the areas of career development, technical skills, and project management
• Extremely customer focused with strong verbal and written communication skills
• A demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with teams of diverse skills across large geographic distances
• Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
