This role reports to the Associate Director, Market Insights and will analyze the company's products, markets, and competition. The Manager will partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to design and lead market research and insight generation primarily to support FILSPARI (sparsentan) in Immunoglobulin A nephropathy (IgAN), with potential to support additional needs in other indications. The insights and recommendations will inform strategic marketing, customer engagement, and business decisions.The preferred candidate will have a strong background in healthcare market research and insights generation, including primary and secondary data analytics. A demonstrated ability to think creatively, combine and leverage multiple data sources to uncover insights, and translate findings into actionable business recommendations is essential. Experience in rare disease, nephrology, and/or specialty biopharma is a plus but not required.ResponsibilitiesDesign and lead key market research to answer business questions, including message and creative concept testing, customer journey and treatment decision research, brand performance, and sales force effectiveness.Project management: participate in vendor selection, oversee day‑to‑day management of projects, ensure budgets are maintained, and report progress to leadership.Familiarity with secondary data analytics: collaborate with internal data leads to answer key questions and monitor market dynamics using competitive claims data, internal promotional data, and internal script data.Interpret results, synthesize insights, and develop actionable recommendations by integrating primary research, secondary data, and competitive intelligence.Cross‑functional partnership: collaborate with Insights & Operations, Marketing, Sales, and Market Access to identify key business questions and support ad hoc insight needs.Continuous improvement and innovation: stay updated with new research methodologies, analytics approaches, and industry trends; integrate new methods and data sources to enhance insight quality.Contribute to team resource allocation: help formulate annual insight budgets, deliver business cases for projects/tools, and manage the assigned budget efficiently.Education and Experience RequirementsBachelor's in Marketing, Business, Market Research, Life Sciences, or related field required (equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered).At least 6 years of relevant experience in market research, commercial analytics, marketing, and/or competitive intelligence within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.Additional Skills, Experience, and RequirementsEmbodies Travere's core values: Courage, Community Spirit, Patient Focus, and Teamwork.Ability to identify and frame key business issues, align stakeholders on objectives, research approaches, and recommendations.Excellent knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and best practices.Exposure to secondary data sources for insights generation, including competitive claims data, promotional data, and internal script data.Analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to integrate multiple data sources to uncover insights and deliver actionable recommendations.Excellent collaboration skills, building meaningful internal and external relationships with stakeholders to scope, interpret, and communicate insights supporting brand strategy.Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently; experience managing vendors and consultants.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey analyses and conclusions in clear, persuasive presentations.Basic consulting skills: consultative listening, problem definition, hypothesis generation, data analysis, and translation of solutions to business value.Proven track record of high performance in similar roles, increasing scope, managing complex project plans, timelines, budgets, and critical paths.Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically for company‑sponsored events and meetings.Essential job functions require face‑to‑face work with colleagues and/or onsite presence in San Diego; the position is not fully remote.BenefitsTravere provides comprehensive total rewards to demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, people‑centricity, and pay‑for‑performance.
