Manager, Marketing

Overview:

Job Purpose

Intercontinental Exchange is seeking a marketing manager to support marketing, sales, product and communication efforts.  This role will drive and manage the marketing lifecycle for the ICE product ecosystem, delivering the strategic positioning of the product, as well as the tactical activation of marketing and sales deliverables.  The ideal candidate will have proven experience bringing products to market, including the development of external positioning, messaging, marketing collateral, and sales enablement materials.  The ability to quickly assess new business opportunities, a broad understanding of product and campaign activation, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and a strong focus on execution and results are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of messaging platforms that clearly position and establish a product in market to align with corporate objectives
• Drive high-impact internal and customer-facing materials that clearly communicate the value and unique advantage of our products.
• Plan, organize and coordinate go-to-market strategies and tactics on to support product development
• Plan and lead activation of marketing and sales materials to continuously enhance and maintain a competitive, best-in-class set materials to support our products.
• Define, develop and manage enablement tools including battle cards, sales presentations, ROI calculators, and positioning documents.
• Coordinate and manage outbound marketing campaigns and assets to support campaigns such as brochures, data sheets, white papers, web content, and newsletter articles.
• Educate teams across the enterprise, including sales and support, on marketing positioning, ensuring members can internalize and clearly understand our position and messaging.

 

Knowledge and Experience

• BA or BS degree and/or equivalent experience required
• 5+ years in technology marketing or product development
• Experience in leading the development of high-impact marketing and sales materials
• Experience in leading the development of cross-discipline, and multi-channel sales and marketing campaigns
• Experience in developing content for events, trade shows or other customer engagement platforms
• Experience in competitive research and analysis
• Background in financial services and mortgage industry is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Experience in marketing or sales project management a plus
• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
• Highly self-motivated
• Ability to travel, up to 20%
