Snap Inc is a technology company. We believe the camera presents the greatest opportunity to improve the way people live and communicate. Snap contributes to human progress by empowering people to express themselves, live in the moment, learn about the world, and have fun together. The Company's three core products are Snapchat, a visual messaging app that enhances your relationships with friends, family, and the world; Lens Studio, an augmented reality platform that powers AR across Snapchat and other services; and its AR glasses, Spectacles.

SPECS represents Snap's vision for the future of human-centered computing - a new category of spatially intelligent, wearable computers designed to keep people present in the real world.

We are looking for a Manager, Marketing Operations to lead the operating system behind SPECS Marketing. This is a highly cross-functional leadership role responsible for building the planning, launch, reporting, governance, and operating systems that help SPECS Marketing scale with clarity, speed, and discipline.

This person will sit at the center of a fast-moving organization and partner closely across Product, Channel Marketing, Comms, Global Brand Experience,, Finance, and external partners to keep priorities aligned and launches moving. The role is designed for someone who can move fluidly between big-picture planning and hands-on execution, and who is comfortable creating structure in ambiguous, first-of-their-kind environments.

The ideal candidate will help shape how SPECS Marketing plans, launches, measures, and scales. They will bring strong judgment, operational rigor, and a clear point of view on how to improve team effectiveness without slowing momentum.

What You'll Do:

Planning, Prioritization, & Operating Rhythm

  • Own and evolve the planning cadence for SPECS Marketing, including annual planning, quarterly priorities, launch readiness reviews, leadership meetings, and team operating rhythms.

  • Manage the structure and flow of key leadership meetings, including agendas, decision tracking, follow-ups, and clear communication of next steps.

  • Partner with SPECS Marketing leadership to translate business goals into clear plans, resourcing decisions, timelines, and cross-functional action.

  • Build and maintain the core systems that help the team prioritize work, manage tradeoffs, and stay aligned across multiple high-priority work streams.

Launch Operations & Cross-Functional Execution

  • Lead the operational backbone for SPECS launches and major marketing moments, ensuring teams are aligned on milestones, dependencies, approvals, and deliverables across channels and stakeholders.

  • Drive cross-functional coordination across Product, Creative, Comms, Media, Channel Marketing, and external partners to keep programs moving and unblock issues quickly.

  • Establish clear processes for launch planning, asset readiness, reviews, and handoffs so the organization can execute with consistency as SPECS scales.

Budgeting, Resourcing, & Business Operations

  • Partner with Marketing leadership and Finance to support budget planning, spend tracking, agency allocations, and investment prioritization across SPECS Marketing.

  • Create visibility into team resourcing, workload, and operational risks, and recommend ways to improve focus, efficiency, and impact.

  • Help leadership make better decisions by bringing structure, rigor, and a clear view of tradeoffs across competing priorities.

Reporting, Insights, & Team Performance

  • Define and run the reporting rhythm for SPECS Marketing, including launch reporting, business reviews, and executive-ready updates.

  • Build simple, scalable reporting systems that help the team track progress, surface risks, and measure performance across campaigns, channels, and launches.

  • Turn operational and performance data into clear insights and recommendations that improve decision-making and future planning.

Agency, Vendor, & Workflow Management

  • Own and improve the operating model for agencies and external vendors supporting SPECS Marketing, including onboarding, scopes, ways of working, and performance management.

  • Identify process gaps, duplicate work, and friction points, then design better workflows, tools, templates, and governance to improve execution quality and speed.

  • Lead change management for new processes and tools so adoption is clear, practical, and useful for the team.

Leadership & Team Impact

  • Act as a trusted operator and thought partner to SPECS Marketing leadership, helping the team scale in a focused and sustainable way.

  • Provide structure and guidance across project teams and cross-functional partners while empowering others to move quickly and make decisions.

  • Foster strong cross-functional relationships and model inclusive, clear, solutions-oriented.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Deep experience in marketing operations, program management, business operations, or related functions in a fast-moving environment.

  • Strong strategic thinking paired with operational rigor; able to move from ambiguity to clear action plans.

  • Excellent communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and align diverse cross-functional teams.

  • Proven ability to build and scale planning processes, operating models, reporting systems, and team workflows.

  • Experience supporting complex product launches and building the cross-functional processes needed to bring new products to market successfully.

  • Strong analytical judgment and comfort using data, context, and business goals to make recommendations.

  • Experience working across creative, marketing, product, finance, legal, agency, and partner teams.

  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and helping teams bring structure to new categories, new products, and evolving go-to-market needs.

  • Passion for Snap, SPECS, and the future of spatial computing and human-centered technology.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing operations, program management, business operations, or related fields.

  • 1+ years of people management experience, including coaching and developing team members, or equivalent experience leading through influence across complex organizations.

  • Demonstrated experience leading planning cycles, operating rhythms, launch processes, or org-wide process design.

  • Experience working in consumer technology, hardware, software, or other fast-moving innovation-driven categories. This requirement is aligned to recent SPECS role definitions that emphasize consumer technology, hardware, and emerging tech experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting product launches or integrated marketing programs for hardware, software, or platform products.

  • Experience in AR, spatial computing, wearable technology, or emerging technology categories.

  • Strong track record of building scalable cross-functional processes in a growing or evolving organization.

  • Experience managing agency ecosystems, external vendors, and operational governance at scale.

  • Proven success partnering with senior leaders and helping shape decisions beyond an immediate team or function.

Our Story

The name may have changed over the years, but the commitment made when the forerunner of SNAP (Spokane Neighborhood Action Partners) formed in 1966 remains its guiding purpose today. SNAP’s mission was, and is, to provide people of low income with access to needed resources, and to help them make the kinds of connections that create opportunity. Our goal always has been to help build a vibrant community that treats everyone with dignity and respect by advocating for that which is fair, honorable and equitable.

The foundation for what is now SNAP got its start in the summer of 1966, when Father Frank Bach, then the director of Catholic Charities in Spokane, enlisted the assistance of the St. Vincent DePaul Society to establish three community centers, in Hillyard, East Central and West Central Spokane, each with a goal of helping low-income people meet their emergency needs as well as to provide a multitude of services within those communities.

These centers and the community-based programs they initiated were so successful that the Spokane Community Action Agency took over the administration of the neighborhood centers. Unfortunately, that agency lost its funding in the summer of 1973. The programs would have been lost were it not for the intervention of a number of community leaders. New funding was secured and Catholic Charities again administered the program.

Striving to fill growing needs, the Neighborhood Centers had developed an annual budget in excess of $4 million by 1985 and were growing beyond the scope of Catholic Charities. On September 12, 1985, with Tom Pleas as Director, the centers became Spokane Neighborhood Centers, Inc. The incorporators were: P.J. Grabicki, Thelma Pugh, Robert Huckabay, Sheri Barnard, Clarence (Bud) Barnes, Nora Beggs, Ed Stevens and Bill Fearn. The corporation adopted bylaws on December 10, 1985.

Five years after incorporation, leadership shifted with the announced retirement of Director Pleas. The agency’s associate director, Larry Stuckart, was formally named executive director in July 1992. Julie Honekamp assumed the role of SNAP and SNAP Financial Access CEO in June of 2011.

From 1985 through the present, the agency has expanded services to meet the needs of a growing population, proving itself to be more than just “neighborhood centers.” Through continuing expansion and a variety of programs, the agency strives to facilitate long-term solutions for the people it serves.

The agency officially became Spokane Neighborhood Action Programs in December 1991, a name chosen to reflect the breadth of the agency’s operations. In Sheri S. Barnard’s Mayoral Proclamation, the agency pledged to continue providing quality services and to ensure that Spokane remains a place that cares about its citizens. In 2008, the name was officially shortened to “SNAP” and legally changed to Spokane Neighborhood Action Partners.

With a re-energized mission, vision and values statement, as well as a new visual identity, SNAP continues to respond to individual and community needs by providing a range of opportunities that offer stability to our vulnerable neighbors and encourage economic self-sufficiency for those who are able.
