Job Summary and Qualifications

The Manager of HCA Professional Services Group will leverage experience, creativity and training to assist clients and departments with strategic business development and drive strategic planning for projects specific to HCA initiatives. It is essential that the candidate is able to work in a collaborative, unstructured environment. In this position is able to provide oversight for multiple advanced/complex projects and manage teams of 8 - 10 employees, to help our clients execute their strategies and improve business operations. Experienced and competent to take on work assignments that are advanced/complex in nature, design and develop direction of work product; provide advice/direction for clients to meet strategic goals; a master practitioner within their field of practice with MEDITECH Magic, C/S and 6x/Expanse platforms.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Implementations Oversight/Project Management 

  • Comprehensive knowledge of implementations with MEDITECH Magic, C/S and 6x/Expanse platforms. 
  • Able to assess project scope deliverables, analyze level of effort, identify project requirements and develop statement of work; strategically resource needs for advanced/complex projects. 
  • Able to coordinate, delegate, and provide project oversight for multiple projects occurring simultaneously. • Able to lead teams during project planning, assessment/workflow process, direct build progress of teams (or own team), coordinate testing plans and events, go live activities, support, and optimization. 
  • Management of resource utilization and project assignments, prioritization of task and allocation of resources to meet deadlines 
  • Leads and engage others in issue & risk management/escalation, project plan management, conversion management, integrated applications, and status reporting. 
  • Able to assimilate feedback from clients and actively drive process improvement and culture change as implemented/approved by leadership. 
  • Uses professional knowledge and experience to advise the client on optimal workflows and system functions through the assessment process with the ability to document and present client facing materials. 
  • Provide oversite to teams on a wide array of client deliverables including, but not limited to, requirements documentation, functional design documents, status reports, client presentations, implementation toolkits, user guides, etc. 
  • Able to engage with multiple interdepartmental resources to assist client to meet strategic requirements. 
  • Develop internal/external training, knowledge share content for peer-to-peer mentoring/knowledge share. 
  • Prioritizes own tasks and assists peers with task identification and documentation. 
  • May drive or participate to incorporate Lessons Learned into department practice/methodology, including process improvement. 
Resource & Practice Management 

  • Conducts career planning, training, mentoring, staff development, regular performance reviews and discussion. 
  • Clinical sourcing management of contractors (TempW2s) (screening, interviewing, placement, onboarding, performance management). 
  • HCA client relationships – consistent management and interfacing with ITG/PSG/BPG/COG. • Approving timesheets; expense reports and other duties to support staff 
  • Conducts staff meetings, present monthly operational review for executive leadership, 1:1 engagement with FTES and Temp W2s 
  • Develops, implements and evaluates programs to promote the recruitment, retention and continuing education of staff 
  • Has excellent communication skills verbally and in writing, customer service focus, is able to work independently or on a project team. 
  • Independently monitors own work and work of others for accuracy and thoroughness. 
  • Mentors others for documentation accuracy, leading through mentorship. 
  • Independently and within teams is able to share knowledge to project teams, clients and drive the process change with clients and within a team. 
  • Act as a solution leader to identify cost reduction opportunities. 
  • Knowledge of working with budgetary goals for multiple lines of business; participate in profit/loss review, and tracking of financial projections. 
What qualifications you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree 
  • Five or more years of experience in relevant field
  • Up to 50% travel

Other/Special Qualifications

  • Knowledge of EHR application and technical skill sets 
  • Previous client relations and/or services experience preferred 
  • Previous account management experience preferred 
  • Must be well versed in Microsoft Suite 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Experience using candidate applicant tracking systems preferred 
  • Proven track record of execution and results
