Fp &a Manager

Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area looking for an FP &A Manager. Our client is looking for someone with 6+ years of experience in a progressive finance role, strong interpersonal skills, and highly strong financial modeling and presentation skills.

The salary range for this position is $140k-170k +bonus.

The FP&A Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Forecasting

  • Lead the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting activities across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning, operational initiatives, and investment decisions.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts, including variance analysis and recommendations.
  • Monitor financial performance and identify risks and opportunities impacting business results.

Financial Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze financial and operational results to provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • Prepare and present monthly management reporting packages, KPIs, dashboards, and executive summaries.
  • Conduct profitability, margin, cost, and trend analysis across departments, business units, or product lines.
  • Support pricing analysis, labor planning, and cost optimization initiatives.

Business Partnership

  • Partner with department leaders to develop budgets, evaluate performance, and support decision-making.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership by translating financial data into meaningful business recommendations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with accounting, operations, HR, sales, and executive teams.

Process Improvement & Strategy

  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting accuracy, and forecasting efficiency.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial systems, tools, and reporting automation.
  • Support strategic initiatives including acquisitions, capital investments, and long-range planning.
  • Help establish and maintain strong internal controls and financial governance practices.

The FP&A Manager will possess the following:

Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or closely related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in a progressive finance role.
  • 2+ years in an FP&A role.
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
