The Manager, New Product Development (NPD) Engineering is a strong leader with a proven track record of managing teams to success. This individual sets the engineering group's standard for engineering judgment and best practices. The Manager, New Product Development (NPD) Engineering provides expert level engineering support as well as project management to the overall engineering team. The Manager, New Product Development (NPD) Engineering assures the overall output quality and efficiency of the engineering team, helping drive the company's vision for growth through successful execution of small and large-scale projects.
Essential Job Functions*

Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in a related field.
Experience in Design, Development, & Manufacturing Engineering and "Design for Manufacture" of a wide variety of consumer product types including:
Plastic Injection-molded parts.
Sheet Metal Fabrication, Stampings & Castings.
Products and Assemblies with consideration for Design for Manufacturability & Testing.
Electrical / Electronic consumer products.
Experience in solving highly complex problems, through brainstorming, data analytics, statistical tools & leveraging outside experts & resources.
