Job Description: Overview
MOTOR Information Systems, a division of Hearst Transportation, is seeking a Program
Manager to lead a multi-year AI Transformation program. Since 1903, *** has been
the industry trusted source of OEM-licensed data, powering accurate repair, service, and
parts information across the automotive and transportation ecosystem. Now, *** is
embarking on a strategic transformation to embed artificial intelligence into its products,
platforms, and workflow-driving innovation in data accuracy, delivery speed, and predictive
insights.
The Program Manager will be responsible for orchestrating this enterprise-wide AI initiative,
coordinating across content development, product, engineering, service delivery, and
client-facing teams to ensure MOTORs AI transformation delivers measurable value to
customers and positions the company as the leading provider of intelligent automotive
data solutions.

Key Responsibilities
AI Transformation Leadership: Drive the planning and execution of MOTORs multiyear AI Transformation program, aligning initiatives with long-term business goals.
Program Oversight: Manage a portfolio of AI-driven projects including automation
of data acquisition, ingestion and modification, natural language search, predictive
repair analytics, and integration of AI-powered insights into flagship products

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with content development, product,
engineering, service delivery, and business stakeholders to operationalize AI at
scale.
Change Management: Lead organizational adoption of AI capabilities, ensuring
stakeholders understand impacts on workflows, data governance, and customer
value delivery.
Innovation Enablement: Identify and evaluate opportunities for machine learning,
natural language processing, and predictive modeling within MOTORs data
ecosystem.
2 Risk & Governance: Mitigate risks related to AI ethics, data quality, bias, and
regulatory compliance.
Performance Measurement: Define AI-specific KPIs (e.g., automation efficiency,
model accuracy, customer adoption of AI features) and report progress regularly to
executive leadership.
Detailed responsibilities of the program manager
Daily program management throughout the program life cycle
Defining the program governance (controls)
Planning the overall program and monitoring the progress
Managing the programs budget
Managing risks and issues and taking corrective measures
Coordinating the projects and their interdependence
Managing and utilizing resources across projects
Managing stakeholders communication
Aligning the deliverables (outputs) to the programs outcome with the aid of the
business change manager
Managing the main program documentation such as the program initiation
document

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field (Masters
preferred).
7+ years of program or project management experience, with at least 3 years leading
large-scale technology or AI/ML transformation initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to oversee complex, multi-year programs with high visibility
and strategic impact.
Change agent who drives adoption of new ways of working by bridging strategy and
execution, championing change, and enabling teams to successfully embed
transformation.
Familiarity with MOTORs ecosystem, ACES/PIES/VMRS standards, and
automotive parts & service workflows is a strong plus.
Excellent communication skills with proven success managing executive
stakeholders.
PMP, PgMP, Agile, or equivalent certification desirable.

Skills and Attributes
The program manager must have strong practical experience in project
management, which was gained through managing large and complex projects. He
or she must have the following:
o Good knowledge and handling of project and program management
methodology and techniques
o Good understanding of the wider objectives of the program
o Ability to work positively with the wide range of individuals involved in
program management
o Strong leadership and management skills
o Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures; and
o The ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems.
o Passion for transforming automotive and transportation data through AI.
o Ability to connect MOTORs century-old heritage in trusted OEM data with
next-generation AI capabilities.
o Forward-looking mindset with an ability to balance innovation with
operational rigor.
o High-level understanding of AI and data technologies, including machine
learning, NLP, and predictive analytics.
o Skilled at managing ambiguity, building consensus, and scaling new
capabilities across an organization
