I'm currently partnering with a highly respected Boston-based law firm on a search for a Manager of Attorney Development to join their growing Attorney Talent team.This is a unique opportunity for an HR, Attorney Development, Employee Relations, or Talent Management professional who enjoys partnering with leadership, coaching high-performing professionals, driving employee development initiatives, and helping shape workplace culture.The Manager of Attorney Development will serve as a trusted partner to attorneys and firm leadership, helping to guide performance management processes, leadership development programs, coaching initiatives, employee relations matters, and professional growth opportunities across the organization.Key Areas of ResponsibilityPartner with attorneys, practice group leaders, and firm leadership on performance management and development initiativesDesign, facilitate, and deliver training programs, workshops, and coaching sessions for attorneys at various stages of their careersSupport attorney evaluation, promotion, and integration processesCollaborate on employee relations matters, workplace challenges, and performance improvement effortsHelp drive innovative talent development strategies that support engagement, retention, and career progressionDevelop and implement programs focused on leadership development and attorney successAnalyze trends and feedback to identify opportunities for continuous improvementServe as a resource and advisor during organizational and professional transitionsBuild strong relationships across practice groups and administrative departments while fostering a collaborative and positive cultureWhat They're Looking For5-7+ years of Human Resources, Talent Management, Employee Relations, Organizational Development, Attorney Development, or related experiencePrevious law firm experience is requiredStrong coaching, consulting, and relationship-building abilitiesExperience supporting performance management and professional development programsExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to influence stakeholders and build credibility at all levels of an organizationStrong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyA proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and a passion for helping people grow and succeedThis role offers the opportunity to join a highly collaborative team and make a meaningful impact on the professional development, engagement, and long-term success of attorneys across the firm.
