Responsibilities:As Manager of Clinical Practice & Development you’ll develop a top performing team and inspire them toward achieving defined results. You will manage the development, implementation and evaluation of educational programs to achieve and maintain clinical excellence at their assigned Community Medical Centers' (CMC) facility or facilities. You’ll provide oversight for all facility nursing on-boarding, professional education and learning, clinical competency development, regulatory practice updates, and promote and institute nursing research projects. You’ll use continuous improvement processes to advance the professional development of nursing staff, unit leaders, clinical nurse educators and clinical nurse specialists to enhance overall clinical excellence and ensure these processes are in alignment with CMC's business initiatives, mission, vision and values.
Qualifications:Education
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
• Master's Degree in Nursing preferred
Experience
• 3 years of experience in an academic or clinical unit setting as an Educator and/or Clinical Nurse Specialist required
Licenses and Certifications
• RN - Current State of California Registered Nurse license required
• BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required

These centers have been developed in accordance with standards established for safety net providers by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the Health Resources Services Administration (HRSA), the Public Health Service (PHS), and the Bureau of Primary Health Care (BPHC).
As such, services are offered to the neediest in each community - the un-insured and under-insured, the working poor, those with limited ability to pay, the homeless, and the indigent. Services are provided at discounted (sliding fee scale) rates for those who qualify based on gross annual income and family size.
