WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:Job Summary
Assists with the development and implementation of policies and procedures meant to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards. Responsible for monitoring and maintaining the Company’s compliance reporting system and investigation of compliance concerns with an appropriate response process. Responsible for coordination of multiple intake formats, including but not limited to toll free hotline, emails, letters, website inquires, internal communication systems, and social media. Serves as the primary compliance support for assigned divisions and campuses
Roles and Responsibilities
Assists with compliance investigations, monitoring tasks, and department goals as identified in Office of Inspector General Work Plan, the Annual Compliance Plan, the annual Compliance monitoring plan, and organization goals.
· Manages the data analytics of the Company’s compliance reporting system and assisting with the
assignment and investigation of compliance concerns with an appropriate response process.
· Reviews and audits compliance investigations for accuracy and completeness at the direction of
department leadership.
· Serves as the primary compliance support for assigned divisions and campuses by investigating
and responding to compliance concerns and allegations, ensuring appropriate actions are taken
to address any identified issues, and attending and presenting at division leadership meetings.
· Directs education efforts to communicate compliance programs, including written materials and
training programs designed specifically to promote understanding of compliance issues, laws, and
regulations, and consequences of non-compliance.
· Analyzes campus and ancillary services compliance trends, communicates and educates on
identified areas of opportunity in collaboration with operational, clinical, and ancillary services
leadership.
· Monitors documentation and billing practices to ensure compliance with Company policy and
applicable regulations.
· Assists with preparation for Board meeting and leadership meeting presentation materials,
including audit and compliance data summaries.
· Assists with the development and implementation of compliance and HIPAA policies and
procedures.
· Maintains awareness of laws and regulations, keeping abreast of current changes that may affect
health care systems.
· Maintains confidentiality and discretion with sensitive data and information.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education: Master Degree
Experience: 3-5 years
Licenses and Certifications
Active healthcare compliance certification (e.g., CHC, CHPC, or CHRC).
Physical Requirements
Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates outside of the health campus.
