This position plays a crucial role in ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment conducive to the educational and operational needs of the Washington Township Public School District. QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLS:Bachelor's degree in facilities management, business administration, or a related field preferred.Possesses a Certified Educational Facility Manager Certificate.Possesses, or is in the process of obtaining, a NJ Black Seal Boiler License.Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management or a similar role.Strong leadership and team management skills.Experience and/or training in supervision of personnel.Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and custodial/maintenance best practices.Possesses an understanding of building plumbing, electrical, and heating applications.Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively with administrators, district staff, and members of the community.Budget management experience.Strong understanding of NJDOE requirements for health and safety standards at public schools in New Jersey.Possesses a vision and desire for the improvement, and upkeep, of all buildings and grounds throughout the school district.Valid and in Good Standing NJ Driver's LicenseSuch alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable. SALARY RANGE: $105,000 - $115,000
