Manager of Data and Analytics

*** Hybrid on-site 3 days a week in the downtown area of Houston, Texas ***

The Manager of Data and Analytics will lead a team responsible for designing, enhancing, integrating, and maintaining enterprise IT platforms that support Business Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, and reporting capabilities. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Team development over Data Analysts and developers 
• Platform Strategy and Development overseeing the design, development, and optimization of BI, AI/ML, and reporting solutions using Palantir Foundry 
• Integration & Interoperability across business units
• Support and Maintenance 
• System Resiliency 
• Business Collaboration 
• Governance & Compliance improvement of Palantir Foundry enterprise wide including: data access policies, ontology standards, user provisioning, auditing, and risk mitigation 
• Project Delivery 
• Core Data Management 
• Monitoring & Automation 

Must Have Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Business, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics 
• 5+ years of relevant technology experience 
• 2+ years of team leadership/management experience 
• Proficiency in front end tools (Visual Studio, C#, Power BI, Palantir Foundry) and back-end ETL/automation (SQL, SSIS, SSAS, Python, PySpark)
• Knowledge of software development lifecycles and source code management 
• Experience building BI platforms using the following technologies: SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, Power BI
• Familiarity with AI/ML programming languages (Python, PySpark, R)

Nice To Haves:

• Experience with Palantir Foundry and AIP 
• Background in Data Science
