We are seeking a Manager of Financial Accounting who is looking to further develop his or her career in a growing global company. This role has significant interaction with both the Chief Accounting Officer and Corporate Controller. The primary responsibilities include assisting in the management of global consolidation, collaborating on the external reporting process, month end close review and analysis, and technical accounting support for special transactions such as acquisitions, divestitures, integration, transformation, and process improvements. Collaboration with domestic and international business unit and functional leaders offers extensive learning opportunities and exposure across our many global businesses that can serve as a foundation for future career opportunities. The position offers opportunities to utilize the candidate's existing experience in driving operational process and control improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy of financial information.Key AccountabilitiesLead preparation of monthly consolidated financial statements, delivering accurate and timely reporting across a global organizationAct as a key resource in the consolidation process involving over 200 entities within a complex, multinational environmentOversee and manage monthly close process for the corporate business segment, ensuring accurate accounting and compliance with US GAAPAssist in the administration of the global consolidation tool (OneStream), managing day-to-day operations and driving long‑term enhancementsContribute to the preparation and review of quarterly and annual SEC filings to ensure compliance with US GAAP and reporting requirementsSupport business unit and functional leaders in acquisitions and other special transactionsAssist with financial integration of acquisitionsBe a leader on the controllership team and mentor teammates to support their growth and development in the organizationMaintain compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements, ensuring appropriate procedures and internal controls are in placeCollaborate with various functions and locations across the organization to identify and implement process improvements, leveraging automation and AI and drive consistent application of policiesPerform analytical review of total company and business unit resultsLead periodic reviews over critical accounting estimates and certain corporate account reconciliationsSupport and coordinate external auditor requestsOther duties and special projects as requiredRequired Management/Technical ExperienceBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience with public multinational manufacturing organizations and/or public accounting firmsWorking knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirementsAbility to communicate effectively across functions and with executivesWillingness to travel and work extended hours as requiredPreferred qualificationsAdvanced degree (e.g., MBA)CPA or equivalent professional certificationExperience with M&A transactions and purchase accountingPersonal Skills and CharacteristicsDriven and enthusiastic with the ability to demonstrate a passion to contribute to achieving business goalsHands‑on leadership style with strategic thinking, problem solving and analytical skillsStrong judgment, analytical thinking and decision‑making skillsCommitted to driving change and accountability through implementing standard practices and initiativesPerforms well with ambiguity and under pressure; can effectively cope with change and act without having the total pictureCommitment to business ethics and integrityOur job titles may span more than one career level. The salary rate for this role is currently $91100-129800. The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location.
