Our client is seeking a Manager of Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting to join their growing finance organization. This is a highly visible role that will serve as the subject matter expert for technical accounting matters while leading critical financial reporting and compliance initiatives across multiple entities.


This position offers the opportunity to work closely with executive leadership, auditors, and cross-functional teams while helping shape accounting policies, reporting processes, and internal controls in a dynamic and evolving environment.

What You Will Do



  • Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages

  • Develop and enhance management reporting to provide meaningful insights for executive leadership

  • Research complex accounting issues and prepare technical accounting memorandums supporting accounting conclusions

  • Monitor and implement new accounting pronouncements and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards

  • Maintain and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal control documentation

  • Partner with business leaders and finance teams across multiple legal entities to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and coordinate all audit-related activities

  • Support special projects including acquisitions, restructurings, system implementations, and process improvement initiatives

  • Evaluate accounting implications of significant transactions and provide recommendations to leadership

  • Assist in strengthening the overall control environment and financial reporting processes


What We Are Looking For



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred

  • 5-7 years of public accounting and/or corporate technical accounting experience

  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements

  • Experience preparing technical accounting research and writing accounting position papers and memos

  • Experience implementing new accounting standards and accounting policies

  • Knowledge of internal controls, risk assessment, and process documentation

  • Experience working with multiple entities and complex organizational structures

  • Advanced Excel skills and strong systems aptitude

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to influence stakeholders and communicate complex accounting concepts to non-financial audiences


Salary $130K-150K
