NOW HIRING: Manager, Award Management –Hybrid NYC
We're seeking an experienced Manager, Award Management to support a leave coverage and increased workload for a leading philanthropic organization. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with extensive experience in grant administration, contract management, compliance, and nonprofit operations.
Location: Hybrid (Monday–Thursday onsite | Friday Work From Home) Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9: 00 AM –5: 00 PM (35 hours/week) Assignment: August 10, 2026 –December 18, 2026 (Potential Extension) Pay Rate:$65–$80/hour
Responsibilities:
Review grant and contract intake materials to ensure compliance with organizational policies and IRS regulations.
Partner with Program, Finance, and Legal teams throughout the award management process.
Process grant and contract amendments, extensions, and compliance reviews.
Draft grant and contract agreements in collaboration with Legal.
Review grantee reports and deliverables for compliance.
Identify and escalate complex grant and contract scenarios.
Conduct training on grant and contract management best practices.
Support policy development and operational improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
7+ years of grant and contract management experience in a nonprofit, philanthropic organization, or higher education.
Strong knowledge of grant compliance, contract management, procurement, and IRS regulations governing grantmaking.
Experience with Salesforce or another award management system.
Working knowledge of public charity regulations.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
