Ref No: 1464

We're partnering with a stable and well-established food company that's undergoing an exciting transformation in its procurement organization. They're looking for a strategic, forward-thinking Procurement Manager to help lead change across indirect spend—with a focus on CapEx, MRO, and other non-product categories.

In this role, you'll shape sourcing strategies, own key vendor relationships, and drive smarter spend decisions. You'll also get the chance to modernize processes, influence cross-functional teams, and help build a best-in-class procurement function from the inside out.

Scope of Responsibility:
  • Lead procurement strategy for capital projects and indirect spend to drive cost savings, quality, and supplier performance.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers through market research, negotiation, and contract management to ensure optimal pricing and risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align procurement plans with business needs and long-term objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations, while driving continuous improvement through industry insights and strategic sourcing
  • Monitor supplier performance using KPIs, address risks proactively, and build strong supplier relationships that foster innovation and value.
Background Required:
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement and more specifically with indirect procurement in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proven experience with driving change.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proven track record of implementing sourcing strategies.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Compensation of $140,000 plus a 7% bonus (can increase for well-qualified candidates).
  • Competitive Healthcare and Benefits.
