Role Purpose

The Manager of Operational Projects-Americas is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of operational initiatives and services, with accountability for cost control, schedule adherence, vendor performance, and service quality. The role works closely with internal stakeholders and third-party providers to ensure operational activities are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with firm standards.

This position bridges strategic direction and day-to-day execution, providing hands-on leadership, operational oversight, and disciplined management of resources, risks, and deliverables.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Specific Duties

  • Manage various office project initiatives across the Americas.
  • Manage the Americas artwork collection including appraisal, disposition and acquisition including tax implications and record keeping.
  • Lead the Americas insurance process.
  • Coordinate operational requirements related to new office openings.
  • Assist with Well and other Health and Safety initiatives.
  • Assist with LEED certification for new office buildouts.
  • Lead/advise on in office modifications to the space, while providing expert knowledge and leadership oversight.
  • Help troubleshoot code issues related to space modifications.
  • Participate in real estate initiatives where necessary including construction projects.
  • Managing POE (Power over Ethernet - lighting system) coordination of maintenance upgrades, vendor relations and system performance to support efficient workplace operations.
  • Managing BMS (Building Management Systems - supplemental AC) provide oversight to ensure effective monitoring, control and performance

Cost, Schedule & Controls

  • Review and approve vendor proposals, invoices, and change requests prior to escalation.
  • Track costs, cash flow, and performance metrics, providing regular reporting to Chief of Staff, Office Managers and Finance.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors and consultants supporting operational services.
  • Monitor vendor performance, service levels, and contractual compliance; address issues that may impact delivery or quality.
  • Collaborate with internal business partners to align operational delivery with evolving needs.

Planning, Coordination & Documentation

  • Maintain operational records, logs, schedules, and decision registers.
  • Prepare operational updates, reports, and presentations for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate meetings, document action items, and ensure timely follow-up across internal and external parties.

Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement

  • Resolve operational issues requiring immediate or specialized attention.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and service delivery models.
  • Support the implementation of firmwide operational initiatives and standards.

Key Requirements

Knowledge, Skills & Attributes

  • Strong understanding of operational delivery, controls, and financial management.
  • Ability to manage schedules, budgets, forecasts, and performance reporting.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level reporting.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Operations, Finance, Project Management, Construction Management, Architecture, Facilities or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in operations, facilities, real estate, or professional services environments.
  • Experience managing vendors, budgets, and operational delivery.

Physical Activity / Other

  • Ability to work outside standard business hours, as required.
  • Ability to attend on-site meetings and vendor engagements as needed.
  • Ability to travel as the business requires.
  • Adhere to the firm's current hybrid attendance requirements

For individuals assigned to or hired for this opportunity in New York, the estimated annualized base salary range for this position is $169,000 - $220,000.
