Manager of Operations

Under the direction of the Director of Forensic Services and Medical Examiner the Manager of Operations is responsible for the overall operation and administration of the Morgue Operations of the Allegheny County Office of the Medical Examiner ACOME including employment of personnel who are competent to perform inspection activities record and report inspection results promptly accurately and proficiently and for assuring compliance with the application regulation and accreditation standards. The Manager of Operations may delegate any of the duties listed below to qualified individuals but remains responsible for ensuring that all duties are properly performed. The incumbent must be accessible but is not required to be on-site when inspection activities are being performed.
