A respected healthcare organization in Eureka, California is seeking an experienced Manager of Radiation Therapy / Radiation Oncology to lead the administrative and clinical operations of its Radiation Oncology services.

Position Overview

Under the general direction of senior leadership, the Manager of Radiation Oncology will oversee the day-to-day administrative and clinical functions of the Radiation Oncology department. This leader will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, patient-centered care while serving as a key liaison between radiation oncology staff, physicians, hospital leadership, medical staff, nursing, and other departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and supervision for Radiation Oncology services.
  • Oversee administrative and clinical operations within the department.
  • Ensure high-quality, clinically competent, and customer-focused care.
  • Support department workflow, staffing, compliance, and performance standards.
  • Collaborate with contract physicians, hospital administration, nursing, medical staff, and other departments.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Support staff development, training, and operational excellence.
  • Help maintain compliance with applicable healthcare, regulatory, and accreditation standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy, Medical Dosimetry, or Medical Physics program.
  • National Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) upon hire.
  • California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification or California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire.
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or management experience in an acute care setting.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5 years of supervisory or management experience in an acute care setting.
