Details: Weekdays Exempt Some evenings orweekends (only as needed) Some travel to our rural hospitals (only as needed) JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and coordination of all functions in the Stillwater Medical Center Imaging Departments, Stillwater Medical--Blackwell Imaging Departments, and Stillwater Medical--Perry Imaging Department while ensuring the best possible service to patients, physicians, employees, and the public. QUALIFICATIONS: Preferred Bachelors Degree in a formal Radiologic Technology Program, or Bachelors Degree in another appropriate field. Preferred minimum of five years supervisory experience in any area in Radiologic Technology. Required certification by appropriate Radiology/Medical Imaging body through American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB). Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Current BLS or completion of course within 30 days of hire. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have strength and stamina for prolonged walking and standing. Able to frequently lift up to 60 pounds, reach, pull, bend, stoop, and kneel. Demonstrates adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to read, write, and evaluate medical images. Able to hear, or correctable with hearing devices, and able to talk to converse with others in person and over the telephone. Able to hear, see, and feel to accurately observe, monitor, and administer care. Possess fine motor skills and hand/eye coordination to give care.
