MANAGER OF SAFETY, SECURITY, AND TRANSPORTATION Join North Hill, Senior Living Community – Where Safety Meets Service! The Manager of Safety, Security, and Transportation is responsible for overseeing all aspects of securityand guest services for North Hill Residents, visitors, and Team Members, assuring exemplary customer service and secure facilities. Job Specific Duties Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. - Responsible for the Security of the Community through access control, security officer rounding, visitor sign-in, key management, and other programs
- Oversees safety programs to include Security Department safety inspections, responses to workplace accidents, hazard communication programs, respiratory mask fit testing programs, and others as needed
- Develops and maintains an operating budget for each respective department. Plans and executes capital initiatives related to security services
- Oversees the proper documentation and communications of incidents through the use of the Incident Reporting System
- Leads every-other-month Safety Committee meetings
- Supports the Organizational Learning Coordinator in planning and executing emergency preparedness initiatives throughout the Community
- Oversees the Emergency Call System and Notification Alert System (PERs) throughout the Independent Living residences and outside grounds
- Assures superlative customer service and attentiveness to Resident concerns through the continual training and development of a high performance Guest Services team
- Supports the Resident Services Supervisor assuring expedient responsiveness to Resident concerns
- Manage all resident mail and package distribution, ensuring package tracking and delivery
- Ensures safe Resident transportation as well as a seamless calendar system that organizes Resident appointments and preferred visitation sites
- Partners closely with the Director of Operations in continually evaluating and implementing best practices related to parking and driving on campus
- Oversees the Resident store, including budgeting, stocking, upkeep and maintenance
- Meets department uniform, appearance and grooming requirements
- Complies with all OSHA safety regulations, local applicable laws regarding health, safety or environment

- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with Team Members, Residents, family members, visitors, and the general public
- When working in Resident areas, must be able to communicate effectively in English
- Attends and participates in in-service educational classes, Healthcare Academy and staff meetings as directed
Education and Experience - Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent work experience
- Experience in leading security and/or concierge-type services
- Proficient with computer software programs
