POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Manager of Strategic Project Sales and Procurement is a key driver for the company's growth in the large-scale solar market. This role is responsible for identifying and securing high-value opportunities within the Utility, Community Solar, and large-scale C&I segments. As a strategic lead, you will manage the entire sales lifecycle from pipeline development and technical specification alignment to contract negotiation and seamless project execution—while acting as the primary liaison between top-tier clients and internal stakeholders. This position reports to the Head of CCI Module Sales or another member of senior management that the President of the Company may designate. This position will be based out of Teaneck New Jersey.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and drive a strategic pipeline of utility-scale and C&I solar opportunities, targeting developers, EPCs, and Independent Power Producers (IPPs)
  • Develop and execute strategic procurement plans for key project components to optimize Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and mitigate supply chain disruptions.
  • Lead acquisition of large-scale projects through opportunity origination, strategic bidding, and relationship-driven sales execution
  • Own commercial structuring, contract review, and negotiation to optimize pricing, risk allocation, and overall deal profitability
  • Serve as the primary client contact for key strategic accounts, managing relationships through contract execution and project delivery
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Legal, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and Manufacturing to ensure smooth project execution and on-time fulfillment
  • Define product specifications and align commercial terms with project requirements and internal operational capabilities
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, pricing dynamics, and regulatory developments, translating insights into actionable sales strategies
  • Manage sales performance tracking, pipeline visibility, and revenue forecasting while supporting strategic planning and global stakeholder coordination
  • Act as a strategic advisor to commercial leadership on deal structure, risk exposure, and pricing strategy for large-scale project opportunities
  • Identify and proactively manage commercial and operational risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations and business objectives
  • Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of proven experience in large-scale infrastructure, engineering, or energy-related sectors.
  • Bilingual in Korean is a must.
  • Advanced level of computer skills – Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.)
  • Strong, professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in meetings, calls, presentations, and emails.
  • Data analysis-related experience preferred.
  • Ability to identify and develop key strategic partnerships.
  • Must be comfortable interfacing outside the company, including executive presentations, negotiations, and contractual reviews.
  • Must be self-motivated, creative, and possess strategic planning skills with a high degree of professionalism and conduct.
  • Willingness to travel at least 20% of the time.
