Job Overview
The Manager of Yoga plays a key role in the administration and people management of each yoga modality within the studios. This position helps to create structure, consistency, and clear communication across the fitness team. The Manager of Yoga focuses on the operational and managerial aspects that keep the program running smoothly. This role serves as a leadership point of contact for instructors and ensures a consistent, high-quality fitness environment aligned with the studio’s standards.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Provide direct supervision, guidance and performance feedback to instructors within the
assigned modalities
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain the class schedule, ensuring alignment with studio goals and modality
balance.
Report and manage class performance and attendance trends, providing data-driven
recommendations to optimize scheduling
Oversee and coordinate instructor substitutions 5 days per week, ensuring all classes are
appropriately staffed, and operational needs are met.
Manage instructor payroll submissions to ensure they are accurate and submitted on time
Support the growth of new instructors by managing auditions, onboarding, and mentorship
initiatives.
Support instructor performance evaluations and help identify development pathways for
instructors.
Manage & Organize Analytics (room utilization, modality utilization, teacher data (FU,
Retention, Utilization)
Teach 3-5 classes per week in assigned modality.
Act as a Master Instructor, capable of leading trainings and workshops, including hosting
quarterly workshops for instructors at the studio level to foster continued growth and
alignment
Follow all sanitation protocols and health regulations to ensure a safe environment.
Ensure that best practices and safety procedures are performed as required.

Support for Daily Operations
Actively participate in bi-weekly or monthly meetings with studio management, Master
Instructors, and Brand/Experience teams, provide feedback, and ensure alignment.
Support the Studio General Manager in maintaining operational efficiency and upholding
TruFusion’s values.
Report any member conflicts/issues to studio General Manager.
Monitor and report any facility maintenance or repair needs to management.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Ability to interact with staff, members and vendors while remaining professional, polite,and courteous.
Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Ability to take direction, constructive feedback-evaluations work independently, or as part of a team.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Experience & Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 200 HR Yoga Teacher Certification as an E-RYT via the National Yoga Alliance. Must be a Master Instructor of 3 Tru Brand modalities
Experience with NetGym and applicable studio software preferred
Proven experience in leading and managing teams, with a focus on coaching, development, and performance management.
Minimum 3 years of group instruction experience
CPR/AED certification preferred or required per local/state regulation.
Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and
holidays as needed.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Requires standing, bending, and moving for extended periods regularly
Studio-based setting with music and ambient lighting
Ability to lift and carry yoga equipment and supplies
Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs regularly
Ability to work in warm and humid conditions, especially during heated yoga classes.
