SCOPE OF POSITION:
The Manager on Duty assists Operations Manager in ensuring Casino Floor is running smoothly and all guest needs are being met. The Manager on Duty's performance is necessary for the casino to reach its full potential in providing a superior entertainment experience for its guests

PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
The Manager on Duty regularly communicates and exchanges information with coworkers and guests, and operates a computer and other office equipment. The Manager on Duty is regularly required to stand 50% or more of their shift. Work is performed throughout all areas of the facility where there may be flashing lights and the noise levels vary from quiet to loud depending on the time of day, the specific location and the amount of business. The Manager on Duty must be able and willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays and in a smoke-filled environment. The workplace is also under constant surveillance both inside and outside the facility.
The Manager on Duty may be exposed to the risks associated in attempting to resolve contentious issues with difficult guests and staff members.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Two-year college degree in Business or related field from a technical/business school; or two to five years (2-5) related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Casino experience preferred.
