Position Summary:
The Manager on Duty (MOD) is responsible for overseeing the everyday functioning of the facility, which encompasses more than thirteen various attractions, four dining options, and three fully equipped bars. The MOD is also responsible for overseeing staff duties, acting as a point of contact for emergencies,s as well as making sure company policies are followed and the development of the team is ongoing. This position requires weekend, night, and holiday availability.
Your Role:
- Provide direct supervision and act as the point of contact to all staff during the shift through frequent check-ins.
- Ensure all daily inspections of each attraction and opening checklists are completed properly.
- Work collaboratively with the General Manager to coach and deliver ongoing development/mentoring to the team.
- Provide staff-level training.
- Respond to all radio calls and report issues/concerns to maintenance.
- Ensure performance standards and compliance for attractions are met before opening and throughout the day until closing.
- Interact with guests to ensure the experience and services are being met and resolve any concerns.
- Train team members to ensure they are properly equipped to perform their job responsibly.
- Assess the cleanliness of the park throughout the day.
- Ensure all Company policies and procedures are followed throughout the day.
- Make sure all food and beverage areas are operating in accordance with State and Federal Health Codes and State Liquor Laws
- Maintains reasonable, regular, punctual attendance consistent with Company policies, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and other federal, state, and local standards.
- Adapts to changing duties, as required, based on business needs.
Your Skills:

Desirable requirements:
- Leadership skills
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Have up-to-date TIPS certification.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods in varied weather conditions, including heat, cold,d and rain.
- Have a good attitude and participate as a member of the team.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Managerial experience
- Managerial experience in a family entertainment center and/or food and beverage setting preferred.
