Manager on Duty

Job Summary:

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and orderly facility

• Take the lead in responding to any emergency and be familiar with all emergency procedures

• Consistently offer the highest level of personalized member customer service while

• maintaining a positive, enthusiastic and helpful attitude

• Make multiple rounds of the entire facility during shift

• During rounds, follow the Manager On Duty tasks

• Notice and remedy unsafe conditions

• Give tours to prospective or new members

• Know and enforce guidelines in age and training restricted areas

• Refill and restock items in the locker room and common areas as needed

• Be familiar with the proper use of all equipment-cardio, strength, and free weights. If no trainer is present it is your responsibility to assist members

• Know the location of and proper use of first aid supplies and AED units

• Monitor team member activity

• Other duties as needed

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)

• Previous supervisory experience is a plus

• CPR, First Aid & AED certification, or willing to obtain upon hire
