Manager – Owned Content, Community & Influencer Marketing

About the Role
The Manager - Owned Content, Community & Influencer Marketing will lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of the brand’s owned content ecosystem, including blog content, website content, organic social media, community engagement, and influencer partnerships. This role is responsible for developing connected content experiences that strengthen brand relevance, deepen consumer relationships, improve discovery and engagement, and turn audience, community, and creator insights into measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
Owned Content
Develop and manage the owned content strategy across priority channels, including blogs, website content, organic social media, community touchpoints, and creator-led content, ensuring content, cadence, channel roles, and messaging align to brand objectives and campaign priorities.
Own the integrated content editorial calendar in partnership with brand, creative, innovation, media and agency partners, translating business priorities into channel-right content plans for blog, website, organic social, community, and influencer programs.
Lead organic social media planning and execution across priority platforms, including content themes, publishing cadence, platform best practices, creative inputs, and performance optimization.
Support and advise on blog and website content development, including topics , content briefs, landing page or article updates, stakeholder reviews, and optimization opportunities that support brand storytelling and consumer education.
Partner with internal and external creative teams to develop content briefs, organic social concepts, creator content, UGC opportunities, and owned channel opportunities.
Maintain platform, influencer, and owned content best practices, including accessibility, disclosure, brand safety, legal review, SEO inputs, and compliance considerations.
Manage timelines, budgets, vendor workflows, approvals, and deliverables to ensure programs launch on time and meet quality expectations.
Community
Lead community management standards, including response guidelines, proactive engagement opportunities, escalation paths, and social listening inputs that inform content and brand decisions.
Monitor content, organic social, creator, search, community, and cultural trends to identify timely opportunities for brand participation while maintaining brand voice, quality, accessibility, and risk standards.
Influencer Marketing
Plan and execute influencer marketing programs, including brief development, creator identification, content and compliance reviews, usage rights coordination, campaign tracking and performance recap.
Coordinate paid amplification inputs where relevant, including creative testing opportunities, influencer whitelisting needs, and performance learnings with media partners.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, Journalism, English, or a related discipline; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
5+ years of experience in content marketing, organic social media, community management, influencer marketing, digital marketing, brand marketing, or agency-side social strategy.
Demonstrated experience managing owned content channels, including website or blog content and organic social media calendars, for a consumer brand, retailer, agency, or high-growth organization.
Experience developing or coordinating blog, website, landing page, or other owned content with attention to brand voice, user experience, and performance optimization.
Hands-on experience supporting influencer or creator campaigns from planning through measurement, including briefs, contracting inputs, disclosures, and performance reporting.
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to adapt voice and message by channel, audience, and objective.
Comfort using social analytics, listening, scheduling, content management, web analytics, and influencer management tools to inform decisions and report results.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, stakeholders, agencies, and deadlines simultaneously.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, cross-functional environments with a strong bias for action.
Comp: $130-$150k base
